Annual General Meeting 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Association will be held

on: Wednesday, 18th July 2018 at 7:00pm
at: Karalee Tavern, 84 Junction Rd, Karalee

It is expected that the business of the meeting will be concluded by no later than 8:00pm.

  5. General Business

Even if you cannot assist in a committee position you may be able to provide support to assist the committee. It is your centre and this is your opportunity to have a say in how it is run. There is much to be done in preparing for the season start in September and the incoming committee will appreciate any assistance offered.

Tiny Tots - 5:00pm to 6:00pm

Little Athletics meetings run from September through to March each year. We meet every Friday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Tiny Tots run from 6:00pm to 7:00pm every Friday.

The colours of the centre are a sky blue colour shirt with maroon trim and maroon shorts. Shirts can be purchased on Friday nights for $40 each, or $10 for Tiny Tots. Registration fees for 2016/17 are $105 per child ($95 for 3rd+ child registered), and $50 for Tiny Tots (3 & 4 years old).

New Venue - West Moreton Anglican College

This season we are excited to annouce that we have relocated from Mt Crosby Sportsground to West Moreton Anglican College, which long term will allow us improved facilities and access to better coaching.  Following are the guidelines for access to the college grounds:


Parking

  • Entry to the college for Little Athletics meets is via the colleges Larsens Rd gates
  • All parking will be in the car park directly accessed on your right after entry
  • This gate will be open for the use of Colleges’ LAC families
  • The car park has lighting and is a short walk past the basketball courts to the main oval where Little Athletics will take place

Access Requirements

  • West Moreton Anglican College is a non smoking environment. Therefore smoking is not permitted within the College grounds.
  • No dogs are permitted within the grounds of the college
  • Access is only via Larsen's Rd and other buildings and areas within the college are out of bounds
  • Parents are responsible for the behaviour and whereabouts of their own children

2017/18 Age Groups

Little Athletics Queensland runs a summer season for Brisbane based centres from August to March each year, and athletes are graded into their age groups by the following table for 2017/18:

Children born since 1st October 2012 are too young for full registration, however they can register as soon as they turn five years of age. A 3 or 4 year old sibling of registered athletes may register as a Tiny Tot.
